A “Wow Moment”

My “wow moment” in teaching came when the Ohio Soybean Council invited me to attend the Commodity Classic for the first time. I began to see how agriculture could fit into my science curriculum in a meaningful way. After that, I began to get heavily involved with GrowNextGen and realized it provided teachers with level of professional development that wasn’t available elsewhere. The teachers in this network share ideas, enjoy collaboration, experience professional development with industry leaders and contribute to GrowNextGen. Their work is both inspired and valued by other teacher leaders throughout the state of Ohio.
