Teachers praise GNG's career resources and win!
Angela Stevens of Mifflin High School had great things to say about the career resources on our site.
As part of an online contest, Stevens won a $100 Amazon gift card for her comments on the career pages.
These resources were created by GrowNextGen in collaboration with the Columbus Council on World Affairs. After completing a survey, students can explore the career areas further through videos, e-learning modules, and classroom activities. Areas include:
- Animal Science
- Environmental Science and Natural Resources
- Food Science
- Global Agriculture
- Plant Systems and Plant Science
- Power, Structural and Technical Systems
Megan Schmidt of Marion City Schools had good ideas of how teachers could incorporate these resources in their classrooms.
