What is the benefit of collaboration between industry and education?

Connecting education in the classroom to real life experiences in industry provides benefit to teachers and students. Marrying the two will give a valuable perspective on opportunities for students to pursue further education and realize the broad spectrum of jobs in the field of agriculture.

What value/assistance can you and your company provide to teachers and classrooms as they connect with you?

I can help with lesson content, be a visitor electronically or in person in the classroom, help with field trips, provide materials, and make other industry connections.

Why should teachers connect with you through GrowNextGen?

Because I am a fun guy and I am available! GrowNextGen is the perfect way to link with industry partners. As one who has been involved with GNG since its inception, I have seen it grow into a valuable tool for teachers and students. I am available as a resource for teachers to help them spread the word about the importance of agriculture to Ohio, the nation and the world. Agriculture concepts can be an excellent vehicle for making STEM understandable for students.
