The Southwest Ohio Bioscience Education Consortium (SWOBEC) Capstone competition was held recently at Southern State Fayette Campus in Washington Court House. Seniors from Loveland, Eastland-Fairfield, Grant Career Center and Ft Hayes Bioscience classes all participated in a science research capstone project competition. Juniors attended sessions from GrowNextGen, OBIC Bioproducts Innovation Center, BioOhio and other vendors.
GrowNextGen talked about careers in bioscience and ag-related fields with the students, and OBIC did an activity with bioplastic.
