How do you connect the classroom to the real world?
Through College Credit Plus, I work with about 20 high school chemistry teachers in Southern Ohio. I find that they are continually looking for resources to make their classes more relevant. Because they are in a largely rural area of Ohio, agricultural topics are a logical choice to make that happen. They have also shared the frustration of being the only chemistry teacher in the school. GrowNextGen can provide them with opportunities to network with other teachers as well as resources to make their classes relevant to the world in which their students live.
