We had a great time in Indianapolis! at NABT 2022! Over 150 attendees came by our booth to learn about GrowNextGen’s great resources and pick up some cool give-aways. We were wowing them with a drone display, too!
GrowNextGen lead educator Jane Hunt and industry leader Zack Bateson presented a workshop session on Rise of the mutant weed: weeds and herbicide resistance. This lesson is available free on our website. In it, students learn the classes of herbicides and how they work to inhibit weeds, then use basic bioinformatic tools to search for the source of resistance as well as identify the species of pigweed using a DNA library.
