As a grain buyer, I work with farmer customers to maximize their grain sales to our processing facilities and elevators as well as other end users in our area. I help manage our location logistics at our crush facility, communicating with production, quality assurance, and accounting as well as with our customers.

Cargill is a company that provides food, agricultural, financial and industrial products to people who need them all around the world. It’s critical that students know about the wide variety of careers in these areas, as well as all the uses of the grain that we buy and use!

What value/assistance can you and your company provide to teachers and classrooms as they connect with you?
I am happy to communicate with teachers or students if they have questions or to do a virtual classroom visit. Cargill has also provided internships for students.
