What is the benefit of collaboration between industry and education?
Only education can provide the tools that will enable critical thinkers to explore, create, and innovate. Collaboration between industry and educational institutions is essential to assure that our students (our future scientists and industry leaders) gain real-life and practical experience by working on groundbreaking research and technologies. Industry also gains from different views and insights that curious and hardworking students provide.
What value/assistance can you and your company provide to teachers and classrooms as they connect with you?
Teaching and mentoring are my passion and are the cornerstone of my program at Ohio State University. I am available for (and would love to do!) in-person or virtual visits, help with lesson planning and content, serving on advisory boards, and/ or potentially hosting a lab/field trip.
Why should teachers connect with you through GrowNextGen?
Because I appreciate the work teachers do and I want to be part of helping to grow our next generation. As an educator and scientist, I am committed to fostering scientific literacy through teaching and advising. Teachers should connect with me through GrowNextGen for information about soybean pathology and nematology.
