Nathan Eckel, GrowNextGen industry leader

Nathan Eckel of Wood County runs Eckel Grain Farms and currently serves as the secretary for the Ohio Soybean Council Board of Trustees. He farms nearly 2000 acres of soybeans, corn and wheat. He earned a B.S. from The Ohio State University where he studied Agricultural Business and Applied Economics. In addition, Nathan is a co-owner of Eckel Cattle Company, raising 900 head of cattle. He also sits on the board of directors for Luckey Farmers, Inc. and is a member of Wood County Young Farmers and Northwest Ohio Tractor Pullers.
