In my laboratory we study communities of microorganisms and their interactions in agricultural systems. I would be happy to do in-person or virtual classroom visits, as well as opening my lab for field trips. I’m happy to help with or review lessons plans to support the great work that teachers are already doing in the classroom!
What is the benefit of collaboration between industry and education?
From a higher education perspective, this collaboration helps guide our research so its relevant to our stakeholder. On the other hand, by collaborating with K-12 educators we can join to continue sparking interest in research in general, and the agricultural sciences in particular in the younger generations.
