Desiree Volney teaches 3rd grade at Almira Academy in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. She attended a ChickQuest workshop and said, “My students really enjoyed the program. They were completely engaged throughout each lesson and could not wait for the next day’s lesson. And their anticipation waiting for the chicks to hatch was incredible! I’d never seen students so eager to want to learn about the life-cycle. After the chicks hatched, the were very concerned about their development and would have spent all day observing them if I let them. The training was very helpful and all the supplies made things a lot easier. This unit I will definitely teach again.”
An engaging experience at Almira Academy
