Chief Logan gets an ambassador visit!

GrowNextGen ambassador Emma Schluep recently made an in-person visit to Chief Logan High School. She facilitated seed necklaces, biodiesel boats, career cards, soy ink, egg catcher, and Ozobots. Schluep said the students, in grades 9 through 12, responded positively to the activities.

GrowNextGen is offering virtual and in-person visits by trained ambassadors who are able to present a variety of activities, providing information about agriculture and science. You can request a visit here.

Schluep learned about GrowNextGen from a friend who is also an ambassador. “My interest in the program stems from my passion for agriculture and teaching the public,” Schluep said. After graduation she plans to attend The Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute for Agriscience Education.
