A group of students from the PAST Foundation came to see the farm, hear about the research being done in the different areas, and take a look at the technology used there. Though the weather wasn’t great, they were still able to have a hayride in the rain!
The students gained information on GMOs, farming, and animal agriculture. GrownNextGen’s Jeanne Gogolski and Jane Hunt shared with the group about ag and STEM careers related to what they saw on the farm. Annalies Corbin of the PAST Foundation said, “It was a great experience for the children!”
