Super soy winners at State Science Day!

Congratulations to these winners at the 2017 Ohio State Science Day! We’ll be featuring their research projects and findings on our website in the student research section.

The Ohio Soybean Council Foundation (OSCF) sponsors awards for the best projects using soybeans in the areas of biology, chemistry, engineering, physics, or earth/environmental sciences. We’re proud of these students for their inquisitive minds.

First Place: Jacob Dennis, $1000 prize.
Title: The Effect of 10-34-00 Starter Fertilizer on Flycine max Yields, Protein and Oil Content. Jacob is in 12th grade at Pettisville HS, Pettisville.

Second Place: Sarah Seeley, $500 prize.
Title: Soybean Peroxidase. Sarah is in 11th grade at Benjamin Logan HS, Bellefontaine.

Third Place: Allison Sanders, $250 prize.
Title: Macromolecule Comparison in Dog Treats with Different Flour Bases. Allison is in 10th grade at Global Impact STEM Academy, Springfield.
