What was your “aha” moment when you realized the value of using agriculture as a vehicle to teach science?
This actually happened at the Chickenology workshop…when we teach genetics, I like to give real examples and this is hard to do with human traits as so few are inherited in as simple dominant/recessive and many are multiple allele. I loved all the examples of chicken traits and have rarely used these in the past, but will now!
